What Is Dry-Cleaning?
Put simply dry-cleaning is the process of cleaning garments and textiles without the use of water. Dry-cleaning uses solvents that help dissolve grease and oils in ways that water cannot.
If you are not sure about whether or not an item of clothing needs to be dry-cleaned, be sure to check the label in the first instance. Your local dry-cleaner should be an expert in stains and fabics; you should be able to take your garments in and they can tell you whether or not they can help.
